Rosy Danios are native to Southeast Asia, specifically found in rivers and streams in countries like Thailand and Malaysia. They prefer clear, well-oxygenated waters with moderate flow.
For a group of 10 Rosy Danios, a tank with a minimum capacity of 20 gallons is recommended. Provide plenty of swimming space and include plants, rocks, and driftwood to mimic their natural habitat. A gentle filtration system and regular water changes are essential for maintaining water quality.
These fish are omnivorous and will readily accept a variety of foods. Offer them a balanced diet consisting of high-quality flakes or pellets, supplemented with live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp, daphnia, or bloodworms. Feed them small portions multiple times a day to prevent overeating.
