Usage Tips
Why do we need a CO₂ drop check?
- If there is too much CO₂, it may cause the death of fish and shrimp.
- If there is too little CO₂, it will lead to the withering of aquatic plants.
Note: To obtain a more accurate measurement of the CO₂ concentration, please do not fix the drop checker directly above the air outlet of the CO₂ diffuser.
How to use the Glass CO₂ Drop Checker?
- Place the drop check with its opening vertically upward.
- Drop 15–20 drops of the test solution.
- Rotate the drop checker in the direction as shown in the figure to allow the monitoring solution to flow into the sphere. You can gently shake or flick the spherical part of the checker.
- Vertically place the drop checker into the water and fix it on the wall of the tank.
Additional Tips:
- There is a risk of breakage when it is dropped and subjected to impact or excessive pressure.
- Do not clean it with hot water or other methods that can cause a rapid change in temperature.
- The test solution is non-toxic, will not cause the death of fish and shrimp, and will not lead to the withering of aquatic plants.
- Please restore and use it in a place out of the reach of children.
