Hygger 172 lite wave maker has a compact design, doesn’t take up much space in your tank, and easily to hide out of view. Its included controller provides easy-to-use customization options: 4 wave-making modes, 10 levels of speed set, and 9 minutes feed time. It also comes with a hard cover for the intake to prevent small fish and other soft-bodied animals from getting sucking into coral reef and freshwater tanks 50–120 gallons.

The HG172 wave maker with a DC 12V 12W powerhead, a max flow rate up to 2114GPH, and provides plenty of flow while remaining quiet. It not only helps to disperse food and nutrients but also eliminates dead spots and enhances filtration, reducing aggression in fish. The hard cover is for the intake to prevent small fish and invertebrates from getting sucked in.

Magnetic Hold

The wavemaker DC pump has a magnetic base for easy positioning. It can hold on the tank wall with a glass thickness of up to 8mm.

Small & Detachable

Provided two compact sizes that do not take up much space in the tank and are easy to hide. When the impeller gets stuck or blocked, the outer cage can be disassembled for cleaning.

Usage Tips

Only the 01 constant mode can set the flow intensity–press the “M” button to choose the wave pattern, and then press the “-” or “+” button to set the flow speed from F01 to F10.
Only 02-pulse, 03-sine, and 04-random modes can set the wave frequency–press the “M” button to choose the wave pattern and then press the “-” or “+” button to set the wave frequency from P01 to P10.

Protective cover installation: find the notch in the case, align the power cord with the notch, and snap the pump into the cover. Note: The pump head cannot rotate direction.
