Colombian Red Fin Tetra
Product Details
The brilliant red tail and iridescent blue body of the Red and Blue Colombian Tetra (Hyphessobrycon colimbianus) gives it its name. This larger tetra species indigenous to Colombia, inhabits natural environments characterized by dense foliage and abundant cover provided by tree roots. It is not advised to maintain these fish alongside smaller, slower-moving species in the aquarium because they are vigorous swimmers and can outcompete them.
