Its “balloon” body is the result of careful breeding for a short, rounded shape, giving it a distinctive, adorable appearance.
Black Balloon Lyretail Mollies are peaceful, social fish that thrive in small groups of five or more. They coexist well with other gentle, community-friendly species such as Guppies, Platies, Swordtails, Corydoras, and Tetras.

Tank Size: Minimum 15–20 gallons

- pH: 7.0–8.0
- Hardness: 10–25 dGH
- Filtration: Gentle to moderate flow with stable, clean water
